This season isnt finished yet, it is supposed to go for 26 episodes, it is currently on hiatus until the studio resume work on it due to the Shanghai lockdown, the studio recently posted a trailer for episode 14 season 2, which is 2 episodes after the last episode that was released, so hopefully episode 13 and 14 will be released soon. The studio is also animating Soul Land and they put all their resources into that one and stopped work on Swallowed Star, but the staff will go back to work soon given the lockdown is going to be over if there isnt another outbreak of COVID

Good news, the Tunshi Xingkong weibo account just posted two announcements.

The first was "There will be a small announcement tomorrow" (this was posted yesterday)
The second was "Episode 40 preview update. just a little preview" and then a small trailer of episode 40 (episode 14 second season) (posted a few hours ago)

So wont be long when the series will resume, Shanghai is slowly going back to normal, that will mean Hangzhou, where the studio is based will also slowly go back to normal, if all things go well.
